Draft. This policy is a plain-language draft for review before ArcSpecs accepts real bid data.
ArcSpecs is AI bid leveling software for commercial general contractors, based in Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas. This page explains what we collect, why, and who can see it. The short version: your bids and documents belong to you, are private to your company, and are never shared with other GCs or your subs.
What we collect
- Details you give us: your name, company, work email, and anything you include in a founder program application.
- Files you upload: sub proposals, drawing sets, specs and project manuals.
- Basic usage data: pages visited, browser type and similar details we need to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To run the service: reading proposals, leveling bids, checking scope and drafting clarification emails.
- To contact you about your account or the founder program.
- To fix problems and improve ArcSpecs.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use one company's pricing to inform another company's results.
Who can see your bids
Only people at your company with access to your account. Your sub pricing is never shown to other GCs, other ArcSpecs customers or your subs.
Service providers
We use outside providers for hosting, file storage, payments and AI processing. They handle your data only to run ArcSpecs for you. We only use AI providers whose terms do not allow them to train their models on your data.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and each company's files are kept separate.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is active. You can export your leveled sheets at any time. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we delete it, including backups, within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you before the change takes effect.
